Welcome to DocuStamper ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DocuStamper website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you are agreeing to these Terms for that organization and representing that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3.1 Account Creation: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
3.2 Account Responsibility: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
3.3 Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
3.4 One Person Per Account: Accounts are for individual use only. Sharing account credentials is prohibited unless you have a Team or Business subscription.
You agree not to use the Service to:
5.1 PDF Stamping: DocuStamper provides document stamping tools with dynamic stamps, auto-filling dates, QR codes, checkboxes, and transparent logo support.
5.2 Document Verification: Our SHA-512 verification system helps verify document integrity. This is a technical verification and does not constitute legal authentication.
5.3 Blockchain Timestamping: We record document hashes on the Polygon blockchain network to provide tamper-proof proof of existence at a specific point in time. Blockchain timestamps are compliant with EU eIDAS regulations for electronic timestamps.
5.4 Chain of Custody: We track and log all document-related events with cryptographic integrity, including uploads, stamps, views, downloads, and shares. Each event includes timestamp, user identification, and IP geolocation data.
5.5 Expiring Stamps: Stamps may include configurable validity periods. Upon QR verification, the system displays whether the document is currently valid, expiring soon, or expired based on the configured dates.
6.1 Free Tier: We offer a free tier with limited features. Free tier usage is subject to fair use policies.
6.2 Paid Subscriptions: Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are in USD unless otherwise specified.
6.3 Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
6.4 Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.
6.5 Price Changes: We may change our prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect your current billing period.
6.6 Refunds: Refunds are provided at our discretion. Contact support within 14 days of purchase if you are unsatisfied.
6.7 Promotional Rewards: We may offer promotional codes, tester rewards, or other benefits. These are subject to specific terms communicated at the time of offer, are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may expire. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotional programs at any time.
7.1 Eligibility: During our testing phase, access to DocuStamper is limited to approved testers. We review all access requests and may approve or reject them at our discretion without providing reasons.
7.2 Tester Responsibilities: As a tester, you agree to use the Service in good faith, report bugs and issues, and provide constructive feedback. You understand that the Service may have bugs or incomplete features during the testing phase.
7.3 Feedback Rewards: We offer a progressive rewards program for quality feedback submissions. Rewards are earned based on the number of approved feedback submissions:
7.4 Quality Review: All feedback submissions are subject to quality review. We determine in our sole discretion whether feedback meets quality standards. Low-effort, duplicate, or non-constructive feedback may not qualify for rewards.
7.5 Reward Redemption: Earned rewards are applied to your account upon approval. Rewards cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated, are non-transferable, and expire if not used within 12 months of earning.
7.6 Launch Notifications: Users may subscribe to receive notifications when DocuStamper launches publicly. Subscribers may receive promotional offers as part of the launch announcement. You may unsubscribe at any time.
8.1 Your Content: You retain all rights to the documents and content you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.
8.2 Our Service: DocuStamper and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8.3 Feedback: Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.
9.1 Privacy Policy: Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
9.2 Data Processing: We process your documents only as necessary to provide the Service. We do not access, read, or analyze your document content except as required for the requested operation.
9.3 Data Retention: Documents uploaded for processing are deleted immediately after processing and are not stored on our servers. We retain only document activity history (filenames, verification hashes, and timestamps) until you close your account.
10.1 Blockchain Permanence: Blockchain timestamps are permanent by design. Once a document hash is recorded on the Polygon blockchain, it cannot be deleted, modified, or removed by anyone, including DocuStamper. By using blockchain timestamping, you acknowledge and accept this permanence.
10.2 Public Blockchain Data: Document hashes recorded on the blockchain are publicly visible and verifiable on PolygonScan.com. Only the cryptographic hash is recorded - your document content is never shared or stored on the blockchain.
10.3 EU eIDAS Compliance: Our blockchain timestamps comply with the requirements for qualified electronic timestamps under EU Regulation 910/2014 (eIDAS). However, regulatory recognition may vary by jurisdiction.
10.4 Chain of Custody Data: Chain of custody records include IP addresses and approximate geographic location data. This data is collected for document integrity and audit purposes. Users accessing documents consent to this tracking.
10.5 Expiration Enforcement: Expiring stamps display validity status but do not technically prevent document use. Enforcement of expiration policies is the responsibility of the document owner and parties relying on the document.
10.6 No Legal Advice: While our blockchain timestamping and chain of custody features may support legal evidence requirements, DocuStamper does not provide legal advice. Consult qualified legal counsel regarding the admissibility and weight of blockchain evidence in your jurisdiction.
11.1 "As Is" Service: THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
11.2 No Legal Advice: DocuStamper is a technology platform. We do not provide legal advice. Consult a qualified attorney for legal questions about your documents.
11.3 Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for third-party services, including AI providers, payment processors, blockchain networks, or integrations.
11.4 Blockchain Network: We are not responsible for Polygon blockchain network availability, transaction delays, or changes to the blockchain protocol.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
14.1 By You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or through your account settings.
14.2 By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any reason with 30 days' notice (or immediately for serious violations).
14.3 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We may delete your data after 30 days unless legally required to retain it.
14.4 Blockchain Data: Account termination does not affect blockchain timestamp records, which are permanent and cannot be deleted.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Singapore. Notwithstanding this, you agree that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction.
